You Take Care of Others.
Who Takes Care of You?
Every day, law enforcement officers risk their lives to keep our roadways and communities safe. The job takes a toll—one that isn’t always visible. Stress, PTSD, and mental fatigue can impact officer performance, safety, and decision-making. Tragically, officer suicide claims more lives annually than line-of-duty deaths.
The Florida Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) Program is committed to keeping officers safe—not just on the road, but in every aspect of their lives. Taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is just as important as wearing your vest or buckling your safety belt. This page is dedicated to providing real, practical support to help you manage stress, process trauma, and find help when needed.
