About the District 7 Law Enforcement Liaison:

Jim Reiser retired as a Sergeant from the Tampa Police Department (TPD) in 2023 after more than 27 years of service. During his career, he supervised the Motor Unit and the Traffic Homicide Unit, leading operations and specialized enforcement efforts. He also facilitates the exchange of critical information, including officer training, crash data and trends, checkpoint planning, and legal updates. Additionally, Jim is involved in coordinating the Florida Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Challenge and evaluating agency contributions to traffic safety through policies, education, and enforcement.
